SG Stud are able to offer mare owners AI services on site for fresh/chilled semen. We are able to liaise with stallion owners on your behalf to organise the collection, transportation and pick up of semen for your mare.

SG Stud consistantly has over a 90% first cycle conception rate that we believe is due to our more holistic approach as well as our relaxing environment and management techniques.

We are able to offer frozen semen and embryo transfer services working in conjunction with one of the three specialised facilities: Equibreed NZ Ltd, Cambridge Equine Hospital and Waikato Equine Veterinary Services.

Thoroughbred Walk In, Walk Out Services
SG Stud can provide clients with Thoroughbred mares a unique walk in, walk out service to stallions located within the Waikato and Auckland districts. Not only are we able to prep your mare ready for service and liaise with the stallion manager directly, but we are able to also provide transport and care to and from the stud the stallion resides at.
